As a Product Designer my objective is create the best possible experience for as many users as possible. Using my skills as a critical thinker I aim to break down a problem into its simplest form, build an intuitive experience, and layer on a delightful and usable interface. Some of the things I enjoy and obsess about most are: having a rock-solid conceptual model, obvious paths towards reaching a goal, clean and usable interfaces, and invisible but enjoyable animations.
Ever since designing for physical materials as an Industrial Design Student it has been my philosophy that when designing for a material you should be capable of building in that material. You need to understand its complexities, constraints, and possibilities. That is why I have focused on making myself as fluent as possible in today’s most popular technologies. As a result, while I consider myself a designer first and foremost, I am also a fully capable full-stack web developer and iOS developer. This has been integral in expanding my ability to communicate with developers and product managers, as well as enabling me to build out my own ideas.
